Making events easier to find
I created Deaf Where? to bring Deaf community events together in one place. It gives people a way to discover what is happening and gives organisers a place to share their events.
My contribution
- Building and developing the website and its event-listing experience.
- Organising event information, including locations, dates and access details.
- Developing the submission, calendar and newsletter journeys.
- Maintaining the platform and improving the experience as new needs emerge.
A platform I continue to run
The work extends beyond the original website build. I continue to manage the platform, publish and review content, and improve the processes that keep the listings and newsletter useful.
